Platform architecture
Design VPC networking, compute, load balancing, DNS, storage, secrets and environment boundaries around application and operational requirements.
AIOC helps product and engineering teams design, automate and operate production infrastructure on AWS. Our hands-on experience includes EKS, ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, WAF, Lambda, EventBridge, Secrets Manager and CloudWatch.
We work on new platform builds, migrations and existing environments where delivery risk, manual infrastructure or unclear ownership slows engineering teams down.
Design VPC networking, compute, load balancing, DNS, storage, secrets and environment boundaries around application and operational requirements.
Turn manual changes into reviewed Terraform and CI/CD workflows, with GitOps for Kubernetes workloads where it fits.
Investigate incidents, improve observability, plan upgrades and work through security, database and infrastructure technical debt.
Architecture decisions affect how a platform is deployed, secured and debugged. We work across the application delivery path rather than treating individual AWS services in isolation. That includes VPC and subnet design, ingress and edge delivery, IAM boundaries, workload identity, secrets, databases, backups, metrics and logs.
For container platforms, we can assess whether EKS, ECS or Fargate matches the workload and the team operating it. Kubernetes is useful when its scheduling, ecosystem and portability solve real requirements; it is not an automatic default.
Our AWS EKS work covers cluster architecture, node groups, autoscaling, ingress, persistent storage, Helm, Argo CD and controlled upgrades. We implement workload permissions with AWS IAM, OIDC and IRSA so applications receive scoped access without static cloud credentials.
Delivery can combine GitHub Actions, Jenkins or another established CI system with Helm and Argo CD. We help separate build responsibilities from environment promotion, make changes visible in Git and keep recovery paths understandable.
We build reusable Terraform modules and environment structures that teams can review and maintain. Experience includes Terraform Cloud and pull-request-driven plans and applies through Atlantis and GitHub. In AWS Organizations environments, we consider account boundaries, access, shared services and repeatable provisioning rather than copying configurations between accounts.
Production AWS work frequently crosses into RDS, Aurora, MongoDB, S3 and backup or recovery requirements. We can support database platform modernization while keeping migration, access and operational concerns visible. For monitoring, we work with CloudWatch as well as Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki, New Relic, Alertmanager and PagerDuty integrations.
Modernization may mean moving a manually deployed service to a repeatable pipeline, migrating VM workloads to containers, improving an existing EKS platform or removing Kubernetes where managed AWS services provide a simpler operating model.
AIOC engineers have worked with multiple EKS clusters supporting high-traffic gaming environments using Terraform Cloud, Helm, Argo CD, GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Additional work includes AWS Organizations, reusable Terraform modules, Atlantis-based review workflows, IAM and OIDC, MongoDB Atlas, RDS and Aurora modernization.
We can join an existing engineering team, take ownership of a defined AWS platform project, support a migration or provide ongoing CloudOps capacity. Work remains visible through agreed repositories, review workflows, documentation and direct engineer-to-engineer communication.
