Metrics and dashboards
Expose platform and service behavior with useful context rather than dashboard volume.
AIOC builds practical metrics, logging, dashboards and alerting across cloud, Kubernetes and application platforms so engineers can investigate real production behavior.
Expose platform and service behavior with useful context rather than dashboard volume.
Collect and retain logs with labels and access patterns that support investigation.
Route symptoms that require action and remove noisy signals that train teams to ignore them.
An observability platform should help engineers answer what changed, what is affected and where to investigate next. We start with services, user-facing paths, dependencies, deployment behavior and existing incident patterns. Tooling follows those questions rather than defining them.
We deploy and operate Prometheus for Kubernetes and service metrics, with Thanos where centralized querying or longer retention is required across clusters. Work includes service discovery, scrape configuration, recording rules, cardinality awareness, storage and access. CloudWatch and Azure-native signals can remain part of the picture alongside open-source monitoring rather than being duplicated without purpose.
Dashboards should connect workload health, platform capacity and relevant dependencies. We organize Grafana views around operational workflows and document what a signal means. A smaller set of maintained dashboards is more useful than a large collection that no one trusts during an incident.
Centralized logs support investigation when collection, labels, retention and access are deliberate. We implement Loki where it fits and work with application and platform teams on structured logging and useful context. Logging design also considers sensitive data and the operational cost of unbounded volume.
Alerting should identify conditions that require timely action, include enough context to begin investigation and route to the appropriate owner. We configure Alertmanager and integrations such as PagerDuty while reviewing duplicate, stale and noisy rules. We do not promise an unsupported numerical reduction in response time; the goal is a system engineers can act on.
Our documented tooling includes New Relic and Kiali as well as Prometheus, Grafana and cloud-native services. We can connect infrastructure, Kubernetes and application signals so teams are not forced to investigate each layer in isolation. Delivery events and configuration changes can provide important context during production analysis.
AIOC engineers have built centralized metrics, logs, dashboards and incident-management integrations across AWS, Azure and Kubernetes environments, including multi-cluster production platforms. We can assess an existing stack, implement a defined observability platform, improve alert quality, support a migration or maintain the system as part of an ongoing CloudOps engagement.
